HFS2- 94.7-HD2, Washington, DC — The legendary rock station “WHFS” is back in DC with HD Radio Technology. 94.7-HD2 is Washington’s Alternative, HFS2! The station is promoting its existence in places you might find their listeners like The Warped Tour and other alternative concerts with these business cards telling listeners how to find the station with an HD Radio receiver and on their website at hfs2.com.
K-LOVE 107.5, a Univision radio station, in Los Angeles, has an HD2 channel that features Christian Spanish music 24/7 and is called Amor Celestial 107.5-HD2. They’re promoting it through YouTube with this commercial telling listeners what their HD2 channel is all about and how to listen with an HD Radio receiver.

HumDesi, South Asian Radio, is a new format available on HD2 channels in NY, LA, Chicago, and Washington, DC. To let the South Asian community know that HumDesi is available and they need an HD Radio receiver to hear it, WorldBand Media (the company who programs the channel and leases the bandwidth from the radio companies), is putting HD Radio receivers in retail locations in the South Asian neighborhoods and asking the owners to play HumDesi Radio inside their stores. This window decal is found on the outside windows of the stores and these table tents are found inside to let customers know what they’re hearing and how to get it.
These :30 and :15 second video commercials will air as part of an extensive advertising and promotional campaign in South Asian specific movie theatres, TV channels and print media. To best reach their audience they are also combining street activities with an ongoing involvement at local events to build the important community presence.
Smooth Jazz 105.9-HD2 in Washington, DC is seeking out local businesses who would like to play Smooth Jazz music inside their locations and providing them with an HD Radio receiver to play their channel. These window decals are found outside of local coffee shops, dentist offices, etc. in the DC area.
Graffiti Radio, is a unique rock station found on the HD2 channel of 93.7 WSTW, located in Wilmington, DE, but also a part of the Philadelphia radio market. Graffiti has been on the air at 93.7-HD2 and online at graffitradio.com for a few years now and is now the first to use a full sized, high publicity billboard to promote an HD2 channel. This billboard is displayed proudly on Interstate 95 outside of Philadelphia.
