94.7 KSHE, St. Louis
A legendary rock radio station brought back to the St. Louis airwaves on 94.7-HD2!
Using that heritage in the market, the passionate sales manager has been successful tying in many of KSHE-HD1’s loyal clients into the well established HD2 channel.
He provided HD Radio receivers to key clients in the market so they could experience the station for themselves. Then, he provided them with examples of listeners who are passionate about and loyal to this new radio station at 94.7-HD2. He also established the “NPR model” of sponsorship mentions as opposed to typical commercial breaks.
Now, without an internet streaming option for KSHE2 and without official “ratings” (coming in August to St. Louis), the sales team has successfully sold sponsorships exclusively to KSHE2, “Classic KSHE.”
Doc’s Harley Davidson in St. Louis is a regular advertiser. KSHE was also the first HD2 channel to do a live concert broadcast of The Charlie Daniel’s Band in the summer of ’08!
