PRIDE Radio LA, heard on 104.3-HD2, sold sponsorships to clients like Rogaine and the Sweden Tourism Board by establishing themselves as the exclusive ‘in’ with the GLTB community. They also started a creative practice of selling airplay of songs LEGALLY during a feature called the “New Music Spotlight.” By bundling the assets of all listeners hearing PRIDE Radio over the air, online, and through their iPhones, PRIDE Radio LA was able to make a sizeable amount of revenue to the bottom line for Clear Channel LA.
